Mother Africa Cosmetics Returns Policy 130-Day Returns

Sometimes it just doesn’t work out, and that’s okay! If you change your mind about your purchase, you are welcome to return your product to us.

• Items must be returned within 130 days after your purchase date.
• We will need to receive the items back unopened, unused and in the original packaging for change of mind and ordered incorrect item.
• Items bought on sale or with the use of discount code will be refunded at the price paid after discount.

Change of Mind

If the product received back to us is unopened, unused and in the original packaging. You will need to return within 130 days of purchasing the item(s) and pay for return shipping.


Ordered incorrect Item

Sometimes we make mistakes. You can return your item(s) if you ordered incorrectly, as long as the item(s) is unopened, unused and in the original packaging. You will need to return within 130 days of purchasing the item(s) and pay for return shipping.


Returning products from The Shop promise

For every product purchased from the shop. Before opening the full-size product, simply test your included vial. If you don’t love it for any reason, return the unopened full-size free of charge. Mother Africa Cosmetics will refund any shipping costs incurred.


Allergy

In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please take a photo of the reaction and discontinue use of the product immediately. Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back with us. Adore will cover the shipping costs.

Damaged in transit

If you have received an item(s) that has arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery using the contact us form below.
Please don't dispose of the item until we've had a chance to chat with you!


Received incorrect Item

If you have received the wrong item(s), you can return your item(s) free of charge and Mother Africa will cover any shipping costs. Please complete your return using the contact us form below.


Faulty Item

If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault and a photo if possible using the returns contact us below to organise a replacement or refund including any shipping costs incurred.


You have 7 days to request for a return, otherwise we will reverse your refund.

Am I eligible for free return shipping?

If you'd like to confirm whether your return will be eligible for free return shipping, please contact our customer service team directly. Unfortunately we are not able to cover return postage fees on all return types.

If my Change of Mind return isn't received in resalable condition, what happens?

If we receive your return and it isn't in the condition outlined in our returns policy, the item will be sent back to your original shipping address - we’ll contact you straight away to let you know.

I've purchased an item that is still under warranty - what happens now?

Please contact us within the warranty period, and we will be happy to assist. Please note that some electrical warranties are processed through the Australian Distributor directly, and you may be asked to return the product directly to the supplier.

What happens if I paid with Afterpay, do I keep making my payments?

Absolutely! Since you haven’t paid for the items in full just yet, you will need to keep up with your instalments to avoid dishonour fees charged by buy now pay later services.
EXCHANGE/STORE CREDIT: Your return will be processed as per normal and your Afterpay instalments will remain the same.
__REFUND: __ The refunded amount all depends on the current status of your Afterpay payments.
The total amount of the instalments you have paid will be refunded. Any instalments you have not yet paid for will be cancelled.

Want to cancel your refund?

In the event that you'd like to cancel your refund after it has already been issued to you, please contact us. All refund cancellations incur a $1 fee and can take up to 2 business days to finalise.
